The Nitty Gritty: Stunning hike up the East Inlet Trail Head, following the East Inlet River with the backdrop of Grand Lake’s famed Mt. Craig (that’s Mt. Baldy in local speak). This hike ascends Devil’s Staircase, but we think it’s worth it to reach a campsite that is on its own island and a quick stroll to Lone Pine Lake. We will provide the opportunity to summit Mt. Craig or explore the extensive alpine lake system in Rocky Mountain National Park. Cliff jumping optional, adventure is mandatory. This group site accommodates up to 10 people, so sign up with friends and family to test your wilderness acumen. People who hike together can generally survive a zombie apocalypse together, but that’s just our opinion.
